Summer is coming to a close and we're looking forward to a great school year! A few reminders as we approach the first day of school. 1. Please make sure to get any outstanding immunizations handled. Proof will be required on the first day. 2. Check out our class supply lists online. 3. Open house will be Monday, August 25th from 4:30-6pm. Come meet the teachers, see the classrooms and feel free to drop off your school supplies. Can't wait to see you there!
Reminder that students going into 7th grade require a Tdap booster. You can make an appointment for this immunization at the Health Department. Students may not participate in the 2025-2026 school year without the required immunizations or yearly waiver. Call the office with any questions.

I'm off to Alaska but I still have so many to thank! Much appreciation to the Deer Park School Board for supporting our garden for the past ten years and to Ms. Howe for keeping it going. Our gardeners loved their recent trip to Fishers Greenhouse... thanks Jen, Karen, and all! We are so excited to announce Mr. Charles Wiest as the new Superintendent/Principal of Deer Park School! Mr. Wiest's most recent experience was as an Assistant Principal at Cayuse Prairie. We are fortunate to have him join our amazing team.
Superintendent interviews will be on Monday! These are open to the public to watch and there will be meet and greet times with each candidate from 12:00-1:30. At 1:30, there will be a board meeting to discuss the candidates and, hopefully, make a hiring decision. Participants are free to make comments during the "Public Discussion' portion of the meeting. We will meet in Mrs. Weathers classroom. Hope to see you there!

Just a quick reminder to please bring back all sport uniforms for volleyball and basketball! We are missing a number of jerseys, so please be sure to return those to the office. Additionally, please return or purchase your cross country jerseys from this season. If you wish to purchase a cross country jersey, please bring $13 to the office.
If you are missing clothing items please be sure and check out lost and found. All unclaimed items will be taken to Goodwill. Also, if you have medication in the office for your student, parents, please pick it up before leaving on Friday.
